Electrocatalysis

Electrocatalysis is a catalytic reaction process involving the transfer of electrons, which requires electrocatalysts to lower the overpotential of the reactions. Sustenergy Lab working on developing efficient electrocatalysts, electrode materials, and electrocatalytic reaction systems for the fuel cells, electrosynthesis, and electrolysis systems.

  • Electrode materials & organic-inorganic composite membranes for Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC)

  • Electrocatalysts & electrode materials for the electrosynthesis of hydrocarbon products from low carbon resources

  • Oxygen depolarized cathode (ODC) for Chlor-Alkali system

  • Organic/Inorganic Composite Membrane for Fuel Cells

  • Electrocatalysts for the Electrosynthesis

  • Chlor-Alkali Electrolysis System
